Consistent $10k months for Dog Trainers. Because financial stability isn’t something you should have to destroy yourself to obtain.
Inconsistent income and seasonal fluctuations of your income make it really hard to ever relax and trust that you're truly going to be okay
Sure, you have a good month, or a few good months in a row, but at the back of your mind is always the reminder that that could change at any point. Maybe because it has changed in the past, for you.
The reason it fluctuates is not because you're bad at it. It's because most dog trainers have their businesses set up in a way that practically guarantees income fluctuation, because that’s what we’ve normalized.
I have never met a dog trainer who said "you know, I was super good at business so I figured I'd get into dog training". Nah, almost every single trainer I've ever met/known started out because they wanted to help. They had passion and some knowledge and wanted to put that to use so that dogs and their people could have better lives.
Thing is, in order to stay in business and keep helping people, you have to have a business that works for you.
If you're stressed AF all the time, you're not showing up as your best self for your clients. Your creativity centers in your brain are suppressed or sometimes even completely offline and you're way more tired than you usually would be.
Nothing stresses us out more than a threat to our base needs, like money to pay for rent, food, healthcare - for us and our dogs (don't even get me started on how none of that stuff should cost money, because that's a whole other webinar!)
And right now, more than ever - knowing how to create consistency in your income, even when shit is burning down around your head is so important.
Not just for you, but so that you can make the change and difference in the world that you want. So that you can help your communities, have options and be able to use your money as part of your voice, and to be part of the positive change that we desperately need in our world.
The good news is that with a couple of shifts to how you operate your business and the way you provide services to your clients you can get a few really big changes, like:
Consistent income. Whether that's consistently $5k, $10k or $20k months (we're gonna focus on $10k months for my upcoming webinar). How much stress would it alleviate if you knew what you were earning for certain for 6 months at a time?
Better client results (now don't take this to mean I'm saying you don't already get great client results, because I know you do, but on average 4 x better results without having to work harder - why would you say no to that?)
An actual work/life balance. You don't have to be driving around the city all day, scarfing down take out lunch in your car in order to make ends meet, I promise). Regular vacations, actual weekends, mental health days (especially right now) and sick days - all without it impacting your bank balance.
Flexibility to work from anywhere. Want to travel and work at the same time? Move states/provinces/counties? Maybe even move countries? It's a shit ton of work to start over somewhere new, but what if you didn't have to? If you could take your business and clients with you?
Better clients. Listen, one of the top stressors for dog trainers is their clients. And there are a billion reasons for that. What if you didn't have to deal with that, but only had clients who from the get go KNEW that they were in it for the long haul and committed to the time, money and process it takes to actually get the results they wanted, no quick fix seekers ever again? Plus having clients that align with your personal values, so that you know that you aren’t ever working with people who make you uncomfortable but you don’t feel you can speak up in case you lose them (and their money) and they leave you a shitty review!
Yes, it's all possible. If you're willing to make the changes.
What changes, I hear you asking?
Come join my microwebinar for those answers.
WTF is a microwebinar? Well, it's like a webinar, but shorter. Less filler, more cutting to the crux of things. My goal is to have you in, get the info you need, and on your way to knowing what changes to make within 30 min. We'll see how I do 🤣
In this microwebinar, I'll show you:
1) The numbers and services in a traditional dog training business model you'd need to make consistent $10k months;
2) The numbers you need to make consistent $10k months by adding a blended program to what you already offer;
3) What adding a blended program entails and why it works better for your client results as well as your finances and time.
February 18th at 11am PDT. Replay will be sent out if you can't make it live.
